Who We Are

DLD Energy is a distribution level energy infrastructure developer focused on battery energy storage and EV charging projects that strengthen grid reliability and support the transition to electrified transportation. We specialize in community scale projects that require close coordination with utilities, landowners, local governments, and project partners.

Our team brings deep experience in site origination, land control, utility engagement, and early stage development across multiple states. We have supported the development of more than 2.5 GW of energy projects on behalf of leading independent power producers and currently develop our own portfolio of battery storage and EV charging projects progressing through advanced development milestones.

DLD Energy operates as both a development partner and a project sponsor. We understand the realities of permitting, interconnection, service upgrades, and community acceptance because we work directly in those processes every day. DG and Community Solar

DLD Energy originates and develops distribution level and community solar projects designed for utility interconnection and long term ownership. Our work focuses on site control, interconnection strategy, permitting, and commercial structuring to deliver projects that are financeable and execution ready.

Distribution Generation Solar

We develop DG solar projects interconnected at the distribution level, typically ranging from one to five MW. Each project is evaluated for hosting capacity, feeder constraints, utility requirements, and constructability to reduce execution and interconnection risk.

Community Solar Development

We develop community solar projects structured to serve local subscribers while meeting utility and regulatory requirements. Our approach prioritizes viable interconnection points, predictable project timelines, and clear paths to monetization through long term ownership or capital partnerships. EV Charging Infrastructure  

DLD Energy develops electric vehicle charging infrastructure focused on utility ready sites, grid capacity, and long term operational viability. We manage projects from early site evaluation through utility coordination, permitting, and commercial structuring to deliver investable charging assets.

Utility and Corridor Charging

We develop EV charging projects at sites with existing or upgradeable electrical capacity, including highway corridors, logistics locations, and commercial properties. Projects are evaluated for load availability, upgrade scope, utility timelines, and long term utilization

Public and Program Based Deployment

We develop EV charging projects aligned with public funding programs, including NEVI where applicable. Our approach emphasizes compliance, site readiness, and disciplined capital deployment to meet program requirements while maintaining investor return objectives.
